Edward Arnold had a cool type appeal, complementing George Raft perfectly here. Alan Ladd and Brian Donleavy did a repeat of this, which I even liked better. Nevertheless, both are top notch movies. (Same title for the re-do.) Thanks a lot KR.

Is this the movie that has that cool stunt of the guy falling through the sky-light onto the table where people are eating?

Oh, man! I can't remember, though I 'too' know of that scene. At one point, Alan Ladd is held hostage as he is beaten by William Bendix (who in real life was a good friend and appeared in other Alan Ladd movies), but escapes by jumping out a window. Ya gotta watch it! It's great cinema! You may be right.
