The last Norma Shearer film I'd seen had been Escape, also co-starring Robert Taylor. That had been filmed two years before this film, and in the two years between these two films, Norma Shearer appears to have aged considerably.

Mind you, she still looks nowhere near bear real age of 39.

Robert Taylor didn't age well either! He starting to look old here due to his excessive smoking.
